Some moisturizers soak into the hair--leaving it soft and hydrated.

Others, however, leave the hair feeling hard and crunchy.
What do you suppose is behind that? Is it build-up?

Maybe an ingredient in the product does not mix well with other things you may have in your hair...

I have a liquid moisturizer that makes my hair hard. After applying it to my hair I noticed my hands were very sticky. I think the ingredients of a product as well as its consistency will determine whether or not your hair will like it or not.

i have never experienced that but coconut oil yes and it came out of nowhere. I use to oil my scalp and hair daily and it wasn't a problem before. but i think for a moisturizer it has protein in it just like they say coconut oil acts as a protein

If it has aloe vera, my hair will get hard, crunchy, and it will start breaking within days.

It's the ingredients...You have to figure out what your hair likes/dislikes..

Happy Hair Growing!
