Why BRAIDS = GROWTH?

Does Braids really equals new grow or is this a myth?

Braids = Less breakage, less manipulation and retaining more length because of it. Also like a watched pot never boils, not seeing the length your hair is growing everyday for a period of time makes the end result alot more noticeable and comparable.

Man I miss my braids my hair truly grew like a weed in braids but now that its APL, I would ahve to sit for 14+ hours and pay an arm and a leg. (my braider is back at work too)

Hair grows everyday and goes thru its cycle. When your hair is braided, its just less manipulation so you can retain more length. But if you know how to take care of your hair, your hair will grow no matter how u style it…
