I've noticed a lot of people purchasing Suave or VO5 conditioner for the C/O, and was wondering if it's because so much has to be used or if it's because they just work better than more expensive brands?
I use cheap co washes becasue I use them every day. And I go through a bottle in about two weeks. I wouldnt be able to do this with biolage or kenra becasue It would cost me about 20-30 bucks a month to restock compared to 2 bucks a month with suave or vo5. Its an economical thing for me. And best of all, I get great results
* I use a lot
* they work better (in my experience)
* more variety of scents
* some cheap con's have "better" ingredients (at least for what I'm looking for)
I've used Redken, Biolage, Nexxus, and Aveda conditioners and I can honestly say they DON'T work better than my Suave conditioners.
I use cheaper ones because I get better results. I TRIED to used my beloved humectress when I did my first CO, but it left my hair too heavy with zero bounce. Next time I used sauve coconut and my hair was DA BOMB. The fact that it's cheaper is just a bonus . . .
I use the Suave version of Humuctant. I love the smell and for me it detangles well. I also like Suave Milk and Honey. I tend to go a little heavy handed with the conditioner for my co washes so cheaper is good on the wallet.

I have a lead foot and heavy hands so spending $1 on good conditioner works well enuf for me as opposed to using my good stuff and using it up within a month.
