Ok first, i tell you what i did today, i rinsed my hair with warm water, and coverd my braids with Vo5 kiwi and lime squeeze conditioner, I let it sit for five minutes, before rinsing. i sprayed some homemade moisturiser and that's it and put my hair up in a bun.

It came out a bit dry because I didn;t drown it as I normally do but here was my regimen:

Soft Bonnet Dried with roller set

I just got six more new hair & skin products in the mail today!! I'm sooooo hyped!! :bouncegre

The pre-treatment is supposed to help retain the moisture in the hair when shampooing... To keep from over drying...
I also pre-treat my hair prior to relaxing.. Therefore not over processing or burning my scalp...

Thanks for replying!! Would you still pre-treat hair that has a heavy build-up on it?

Whew! Seems like a lot but I only do shampoo wash process once a week and the conditiner wash steps 2-3 days out of the week. Also some of the products change as I get further along past my chemical treatment.

Ladies, How long does these pre-poo treat/wash/reconstruct/condition/ styling take you ladies, i don't have the patience. I take my hat off to you all.

I'm washing my hair tonight... I'll probably pretreat with olive oil/burts bees while I'm going to class (meaning I'll slather it on my hair now and wash it off when I come back at 8pm). I'm gonna try out black soap again for a shampoo. Use Aubrey Organics Island Naturals conditioner. Aveda Elixir for a leave-in and do my hair in big twists to dry. From when I wash onwards it shouldn't take me more than an hour from start to finish. :)

Shampoo: L'anza Protein Plus
Conditioner: Motions Moisture Plus
Moisturizer: S-Curl

It's Monday, so I had to keep it simple. :yep:

I washed my yesterday afternoon.

Coconut Oil
Then I mixed Surge Power Wash with NTM Active Soothing Shampoo then used Motions CPR since I had so much breakage, then I used Nexxus Humectress moisturizing conditioned.

From there, I sprayed my hair with some Surge 14, towel dried my hair, used NTM silk touch leave in and sat under the dryer for an hour with a satin scarf. Fantasia Straightening Serum and Surge Ultra Max for my scalp, then I flat iron my hair and then put my curlers in for the night.

LOL.it really doesn't take that long...I usually pretreat an hour or so before and do other stuff ith the treatment sitting on my hair. I do all of my shampoo'ing in the shower. I rinse the treatment, shower, apply conditioner (if I'm using a mild protein, I mix the protein and moisturizing conditioner together) let it sit and do what I have to do in the shower. Then I rinse, detangle and get out of the shower and finish up. If I'm airdrying the whole process (after pretreating) takes about 30 minutes.

I tried my Kenra samples tonight.

Wet hair with distilled water
Clarified with Suave Clarifying Poo
Shampoo: Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo
Condition: Kenra MC
Rinsed with distilled water
Leave In: Fantasia IC w/Aloe
Serum: NTM

My hair feels wonderful. Last wash, my hair was so dry and hard. I think we may have hard water. So, I tried distilled water during my wash. I don't know if it's the distilled water or the Kenra, but this is the best my hair has felt in a while. :D :D :D

I wash everyday.. usually at night..today I did it late afternoon though..

I don't pre-poo.. because I don't poo..

I use Suave Milk and Honey conditioner to "wash"
then I use Elucence MB conditioner to condition..

I didn't rinse all of the conditioner out..

Today I used Jessicurl's Gelebration Spray.. LOVED IT!! Hair smelled AWESOME and I had nice defined, soft curls... I used something else too.. I can't remember.. oh yah, MyHoneyChild Caribbean Activator I think... good combo for me..:)

For the last few days I've been trying different products since I have "attained" quite a few.. trying to see what works and what doesn't now that I've found some good ones that work for sure.. and I need to start using up my product collection..

I washed this morning with the following products:

Wash: Elucence MB Shampoo
Conditioner: Keracare Essential Oils for the Hair+Keracare Humecto+ Affirm Fiberguard Sustenace
Leave-In: Elucence MB
Serum: Elucence Silk Hydrating Elixir

i washed this morning...it was a CO
-i added a little water on my hair and slathered on my first C (V05 kiwi and lime cond)
had this on for 15 minutes while doing some chores around the apt
-went into shower and rinsed out
-slathered on humectress, rinsed out
-tried my new biolage ultrahydrating balm and had this on for 3 minutes covered with a shower cap. i swear i did not want to rinse it out cos when i took of the shower cap, my hair was like silk
-pantene detangler (detangler)
-sebastion potion 9 (leave in)
-mixture of coconut and jojoba oils
-then moisturiser (soft and beautiful botanicals lite creme moisturiser)
-finally, coconut oil

my hair feels so soft and moisturised...my last wash, my hair was so dry because i clarified and i forgot to use my moisturiser

got my satin scarf tied on and waiting for it to dry

I just finished washing a few hours ago.

*Shampooed with NTM
*Conditioned (40 min no heat) w/ DDTA Con/Humectress
*Rinsed, detangled, applied leave in & serum
*rodsetted
*am now sitting under dryer

My routine last night:
Jasons jojoba shampoo
Phyto karite conditioner (10 mins while in the shower)
Salerm 21
Elasta recovery moisturiser
NTM serum
air dried in a pony tail

I am washing my hair tonight.

I've never tried a pre-poo but tonight I'm mixing EVOO and coconut milk & letting it sit for like 30 mins.

Poo: Cream of Nature Detangling poo in shower
Rinse
Cond: Apply Humectress in shower (5 mins.)
Rinse
Deep Cond: Apply Neutrogena Triple Moisture Hair Mask (get out of shower and let this sit for 30 mins. while hair is covered-- no heat)
Rinse
Apply ORS Olive Oil Replenishing Pak for added moisture (only 10 min w/heat)
Rinse, then once all product is out, I rinse with cold water to seal and give shine.

After that I plan to apply WGO and Elasta QP Recovery (sparingly), paying close attention to ends. I will then braid my hair and roll the ends. In the morning I'll finger comb it and apply moisturizer to the ends and go.

ETA: I forgot that I ran out of Humectress so I used LeKair Cholesterol instead and still finished off with NTM Mask. It still came out good. I rollerset using NTM Leave-In Foam (I highly recommend it!) and no Recovery, only a dab of WGO for my ends. Great results!

I'm washing tonight too...

Pre Poo: EVOO & Honey & Cheepo Conditioner

Poo: Kenra MC

Protein: Emergencee

Deep Conditioner: Salerm Wheat Germ Hair Mask w/EVOO

Leave In: Salerm 21

Serum: NTM Healing Shine

Rollerset or Twistout

I just washed! I didn't do a prepoo though. I cowashed with generic humectress (i love it!) and after i rinsed i used infusium leave in and a little more the humectress, detangled with my denman and put in a bun. My natural hair has thrived with this, I have to add a little oil afterwards though so I can lock in the moisture. I use Keracare with jojoba oil.
