Who's still in the Christmas Stretch Club?

Ok, I'm noticin that the stretch club is losin members left and right so I'm just tryin to get an idea of who HASN'T fallen off yet...I knew it would be rough. I had a couple of days where I was bout ready to fold, but I'm here...I'm hangin in there with my Paul Mitchell The Detangler, we all we got!

So who's in?

I'm still going strong, I even made it through Homecoming (Thank Goodness I wasn't on a no-heat challenge) with the help of my flat-iron and some bobby pins, my updo was a hit! I'll be like almost 5 months post relaxer (July 31 last relaxer). But, I'm hanging in there!

I'm still in. This is week 9 of my stretch. I'll be 16 weeks on Dec. 13th. My stretch staples are mango butter and scurl (for buns) and my 1.50 inch Solia Tourmaline Ceramic (for blow outs to straighten my roots)

Hey All,

DI, I am still in. And it looks like we have others that want to join, so that is great! I am...(counting on fingers)...almost 11 week post. I was going to 16 anyway. I have been tempted to relax, but I haven't. And I haven't been doing much to my hair except putting up in a clip. I am waiting for someone to pull me aside and tell me how bad I am looking with my "roots coming in"(sigh...family), but until then, I am stretching.

Hope it's not too late to join. I just got a relaxer on 10/16 and I will be stretching until x-mas (I'll probably be stretching until after New Year's..can't see myself in the salon on Christmas or New Years. It's a mad house!!! ). I'm trying to stretch for 12 weeks this time (longest stretch 10 weeks) and my plan is to continue the baggie challenge I'm on. 12 weeks...piece of cake (she says...not knowing the future )

hi all, still here. the longest i have ever stretched is 8 weeks, and i'll be at that on monday oct.31. my goal is to go 11/12 weeks that would put me around thanksgiving. if i make it that far, i will decide if i can make to december . but 12 weeks will be great. so i guess i'm more of a thanksgiving/maybe xmas stretch club

I'll join it...I want to go until either Dec 24th or Dec 30th. I haven't been able to stretch to 11-13 weeks since some parts have been underprocessed. I've been going about 6-8 weeks but I want to go back to every 12-13 weeks so I'm in (I'm underprocessed now but I still don't want to do it every 6-8 weeks).

Lisa~~I know exactly how you feel. Everybody keeps trying to "gently" suggest that I should get a relaxer but little do they know that I'm bout to be whippin and swangin all this lusciousness. I'm glad you're hangin in there...

Cantbecopied~~Tell me more about the Solia...I forced myself to go on a no-heat challenge and I plan to reward myself in January by buying a high-end flat iron. After somebody had a bad experience with a T3, I had plans of buyin a CHI 1" w/ the dial, but I did read a rave about the Solia not too long ago. Was that yours?

I would like to join. I am on every day still new still do not know much. I got a perm October 11th and so be only 11 weeks, but I am not getting a new perm I am transitioning. If anyway has any information about that let me know I welcome all notices. thanks

I'm still here! Though this strecth has caused me to cheat a lil on my own personal no heat til november challenge. I had to blowdry! I just couldn't take not being able to comb through my hair. But in the end I'm still on the boat.

I never joined the Christmas Stretch Club when it originally started (I missed that boat, I dont know where I was)...but I'm here. I am transitioning so I'm "stretching" FOR-EVER! LOL. Right now I am 9 weeks post and my hair isn't that bad. I tried to do flexi rods on my own last week and it was a mess so I got my hairstylist to do it for me. Cost me $45= :-( but dammit I'm leaving these curls in til the cows come home, you best believe that! I am going to be really proud of myself come Xmas time cause I don't believe I have ever gone more than two months (8 weeks) without a relaxer. Just imagine, Christmas will make it 5 months exactly because my last relaxer was August 25th! Good luck to all the transitioners and stretchers!!

I just took out my weave last night and I can only say, "Wow." I can't wait until December comes. This is just amazing. My hair is nearly back at the spot it was this past spring when I experienced a setback.

I'm still in. I'm 4 weeks post and I'm not going to relax until December 28th!!!. I have extra mango butter, WGO, and Profectiv Breakfree to ease the way. When it starts getting bad I plan to pre-treat with carrot oil or Lotion#9.

I've been taking PP MSM 3000 mg since 9/1 and my 4a/4b is not nappy like it usually is!!!
