Aww. All jokes aside, I hope her hair turned out ok. Sheantipro can you at least confirm that much? We know at this point the pics aren't coming but we want to make sure your hair turned out well. We understand. :yep:

Thanks Blasianbeauty, my relaxer turned out really well. I am sorry I disappointed you ladies...I am traveling over the holidays, and have not had a chance to post pics.

I luv this site, and used a family members pc in philly to log on and post a thread yesterday and today. Ya'll are on my tails "for real",:whip: but just a delay...I promise not to play you all, pics will be up in the next few days, Imma be like "BAM, Now What"! and in the future, I swear an oath to the LHCF ladies to never post without pics on this forum.

This thread is hilarious:lachen::lachen:. I know this is a "hair" board and we're all into "hair" but it is just "hair."

But OP, we are going to hold you to that oath. :look:

Yeah I want to see those pics as well. However I am a little confused, so will one of you kind sista help me out? She stated in her original post that she reached BSL in July of this year after a fifteen month stretch. But... on her join date in August of this year, her hair length was short and sexy. Hmmmm........
Did I miss something? Maybe she got the dates wrong. Sorry, but unless I see pics or the have the dates explained,......

You are corrent "the other longest stretch was 15 weeks, and ended July 3rd of this year, at which time I reached (BSL)." However, my original Join date was in November of 2006, and I used a different screen name. I used tips from this site and lurked for awhile, after I let my subscription lapse, but rejoined in August of this year...at BSL at that time.

I want to know how OP staved off the breakage. I will worship her if she can help us with that during a long stretch.

Literally by not combing my hair, except for in the shower on wash day with a Jilbere and direct water flow.

I wore a simple two braid style, 1 top and 1 bottom, and tucked under the ends. My scalp does not like S-curl, so I never moisturized the scalp. At night, I would just saturate the braids with castor oil, and baggy them each in it own baggy, and again pin the ends under in the morning. I used a silk scarf to tie down at night, and deep conditioned and c.o. washed every week.

Leaving the hair alone...not combing it at all is mainly what I attribute the growth to.

Good girl, because they were about to form a lynch mob! :lachen: :lachen: :lachen:

This thread is one of the cutest ones on the board. :yep:

Sheanitpro, when you tucked your ends under after saturating them with oil, how did you wear your hair? Like that? Under a wig? I don't think my hair is long enough for that style...and I also think if I didn't comb it at all, I would look really scary after a week-2 weeks. Then again, I am learning so much here that has helped that I had NO idea would work out well....

Can't wait to see your pics!!!

Blessings,
cj
