Who takes your hair photos?

I see some wonderful hair shots in the fotkis and in these threads. Some are obviously taken by yourselves, but outside of that, who takes your hair pics, and are they willing participants or do they get annoyed? (Hubby/significant other, your children, friends, relatives?)

Same here... only the dog knows how often I take pics. :blush3: She will occasionally come over and pose for me to take her picture too.

My husband takes most of my photos. If he is not home my boys assist. My oldest son laughingly calls me vain, no matter how many times I tell him its to monitor my hair growth and my youngest son just straight up finds it an annoying interruption. He says "Woman, can't you wait to your husband comes home". To which I respond "can't you walk to and from school"? Teenagers!

I haven't posted any hair photos in awhile, but I take them by setting the self timer.

Dh most of the time. But I hate asking him, cause he gets annoyed after taking two pictures. I keep tellin his slow a** to get the right lighting, don't stand too far/close, etc. But he doesn't listen and takes dumb pictures, then gets annoyed when I want him to take more. WELL, if you did it right the first time, you wouldn't have to take so many!

Other times I ask my 4 year old, but that's a disaster 98% of the time. After 20 minutes of blurry and out of focus pictures, I get frustrated and just go ask hubby

When they're both getting on my last nerve, I just take them myself

I usually do it myself but the pic I took yesterday (currently my avatar) was taken by the SO. He just shakes his head... amused.

Same here. It's hard enough trying to explain why you have pics of the back of your head on your digi cam, without asking people to take the pics for you.

I take them myself and sometimes DH takes them for me if he's at home. He likes taking the pics since he is also tracking my progress.

We both plan to trim at the end of September to see how much growth we got over the summer (he has long dreads).

My husband takes the photos , in the beginning of my hair journey he wasn' t very patient now he does the "job" but I'm obliged to force him to look at my Fotki .... He said : you're little obssesed (not sure of the word ?) with your hair .

I take 99 percent of my photos, but on the rare occasion I ask my SO to take a picture, he doesn't mind

My husband thinks we're all on crack. He'll take photos for me sometimes, but I take so many myself,normally I can get it right. And yes, only the dog knows! Every now and then I sneak on of him in!

My husband or myself. I just hand him the camera and say take a shot for my hair board and he does it and goes back to his business.
