Who else has been a bad gurl?

Yep I am ashamed to confess that:

I've not tied my hair up every night (sheer laziness, my hubby actually likes my scarf, strange bro!) I used to be soooo good about this!

I've not been good to myself with my diet so my hair and skin has been paying the price... vitamins, wot vitamins?!

2005 - I used heat on my hair about 4-5 times though I know my hair thrives best without it

Didn't wash my hair as often as I coulda...

Protective styling fell by the wayside

Oh well... here's to a disciplined 2006... at least I haven't used heat since around Oct 2005 and been better at tying up my hair at night. Plus I am resisting food that is bad for me.

Any other naughty sistas out there?

Anyone?

I don't bother to tie my head at night sometimes but i still aint naughty though, sometimes i don't care.

I used to neglect vitaminis that probably was naughty because my hair was shedding, breaking and dry like chips for ages.

Well, I don't detangle my hair from the ends up to the roots when its wet:look: My hair tangles terribly and I lose so much more hair when I do that. Even with my large toothed comb I've found that I have to detangle the newgrowth first with short strokes, placing my hand flat on the section for support. Then I detangle the rest of the relaxed hair separately- again rarely from the bottom up. This is true especially deep into my relaxer stretches. It works very well for me and I never lose much hair at all! I guess I haven't really been a "bad girl" though because I am still in hair preservation mode:grin: -- just going about it in the way my own hair prefers.

I don't think that I've been naughty, but I do know that I am nowhere near as paranoid about my hair as I used to be. Thinking every little thing was going to hurt it. I'm still careful though. Still very gentle with it, tying it up at night, keeping it moisturized, no heat, etc.

I thought I was the only one! I start from the middle of my hair strand and detangle down. Then I tackle the root - and it's the only way for me to avoid hair loss...

what!!! see I knew I wasn't crazy:lol: Now I don't feel guilty anymore! It really is the only way I can detangle properly:yep::lol:

Sistaslick, I do the same thing. I have to detangle from the top down, I have tried the correct way but did not work. Even my hairdresser says I get less breakage detangling from top down with short strokes...

I have completely stopped taking my vitamins (multi and for hair). I need to sart back up and start taking some MSM, which I have never tried b4.

I'm very inconsistent with my vitamins. Instead of every day, it's more like a couple of times a week (or whenever I remember). I've also been "deep conditioning" for about 10 minutes. It used to be 30 minutes-overnight.

Yes I have been a bad girl. Things I stopped doing:

taking my multivitamin, even though I doubt it has been doing anything for me

oiling my scalp

using my heat cap for deep conditioning

I must admit, I do lay my head on my couch or bed without tieing it up if I'm just chillin. And everytime I think to myself LHCF would :spank: me!:lachen:

I haven't exercised ALL winter, my growth rate seems to be nil AND I CHI'd in December without deep conditioning prior and what are vitamins used for again? I have been awful to my hair.

Me. Last year I was off and on w/haircare. Not always washing frequently, not always tying hair. Using heat instead of protective styles, inconsistent w/vitamins. Still had growth, but lots more breakage than necessary!

WHERE DO I START! :lol Its braided now so its doing better but still no scarf, no vitamins, havent washed it since Saturday, when I did wash it I washed it and conditioned it and let it air dry without even tryign to comb it. Let the braider use blue magic on my hair, and the list goes on.... But its growing :)

I confess I was a VERY BAD girl last night.....

I raked a cheap *** RATTAIL comb through my semi-dry, 10 wks post touchup hair last night. I was trying to do a twist out set but, with each section, I wanted to also just do a light dusting of my ends and my hair was tangled, PLUS I wanted my roots to get a good combing! :( I know, I know...:ohwell:

I haven't used heat all month and I had a busy weekend with a lot of events to attend. My stylist tried a new hairstyle and I had to use a lot of heat to keep up the style for my short hair. I liked the hairstyle but not the fact I had to use so much heat.

Umm..nope I've been pretty good. Not much to do with this amount of hair.

I wrap it up at night and I cw everyday. lol Except lately I have been greasing my scalp. I had my hair in some twist from the shop. In which they used a tone of brown jail and dryed my hair hard. I took the twist out 12 days later and it seemed as if my hair grew. lol ???

I won't ever get those twist again. yuck. But, I wondered what grease would do for my hair. I grease my scalp while wet and than the next day I was it out and grease again.

Oh I have been bad..I play in my hair everyday..HAHAHA And no one is going to catch me...

Phew! I'm glad it ain't just me :) I have far too many split ends... I'm not going to get obsessive but I have to get back on track...

I'm tying my hair up again so I'm getting there

I sort of slacked off keeping my hair in protective styles. I was missing my hair being worn out. I'm trying to get back on track for spring.

I've been a baaaad bad gurl, I've been very dangerous with my PJism, and it's a sad sad world when a gurl only buys more products just because she can!

I used heat yesterday after saying I wasnt going to b/c my hair has been breaking, I not only flat-ironed but I used my comb attachment to blow dry my hair out..lol I put my hair in braids now so I can STOP

I havent put my hair in my overnite scarf all week.. needless to say today when I do myhair...it is going to be a fight to try and detangle all of this stuff on top of my head... (I haven't combed my hair in 4 days) !!! :nono:

I don't know why I keep falling asleep on the couch without putting my hair up first.????
