Hello all :hiya2:,

Which relaxer should I use for fine and medium density hair, gentle treatment regular (no-lye) or ORS regular/normal no-lye? :help3:

I have used gentle treatment in the past and loved it, but I recently went back to my old hairstylist for a TU and it did not take at all. (I don't know if it was b/c the person who usually does myTU did not do it this time. I go to a dom. salon) I left my previous stylist because she used to get the relaxer on my ends. However, she got my hair extremely straight with GE left on only for 15-20 mins from start to finish and smooth out two times. (The relaxer wouldnt stay on my ends long but I DO NOT want overprocessed hair especially since my hair is fine already)

I have been thinking about the ORS relaxer because I have been using ORS mayo and the carrot oil and my hair loves it. So I was wondering if I should give ORS a try.

By the way, this is my first post!!:weird:

Gentle treatment is my regular relaxer, I have been using it for years and years...tried other things including ORS and come back to it. ORS left my hair really dry but so does their hair mayonaise so if the hair mayonaise works for you then the relaxer might too.

I especially like the leave in that comes with Gentle Treatment, I find it very moisturising.

With either relaxer, if you let it get to your ends it will damage your hair so I'd probably stick to what works for you but make sure you have someone who will apply it well.
