Post the protective style that gave you the best hair growth.

I find that wearing a phony pony and a half wigs is the best protective style for me.

Full sew ins for me---going back to them this month

loose buns have done wonders for retaining growth and protecting my ends.

I make these faux pony/bun/roll ups using Magic Grip Hair Pins. I don't know what I would do without them. I no longer use ponytail holders.

imo the best protective styles that retains growth is cornrows

Buns work best for me.. As a matter of fact I'm about to start back wearing them.. So that I can get to BSL ....

#1 = Braids/cornrows
#2 = Loose buns (very very close second)

ive done that in the past when my hair was longer and it worked wonders for me too..that was the time where it semmed like I retained every single INCH of NG
loose buns have done wonders for retaining growth and protecting my ends.

Kinky twist has given me and my two friends great growth over the past year. Its easy to put in, your able to moisturize, wash and condition while in them and its easy for you to apply growth aids if you choose to do so. I have gone from NL to SL this way in 9 months.

Braids in general but I have gotten the most growth from kinky twist vs. micro braids.
