Ok so here I am like 20 weeks post or so.. and I realized this just must not be MY time to go natural. :ohwell:LOL. It's really hard and I honestly don't have the patience. With a stressful job and a family I really don't need to be stressing over my hair!:wallbash: And now I am armed with knowledge and know how to care for my hair better. I will know what to do to my relaxed hair. And I've been really pampering my hair during my "pseudo" transition.:spinning::rolleyes: So now I want to relax and I want to use phtyo. Which is the best to use? I know there are 3, but which is the mildest? I have a LOT of ng, I mean, 20 wks post, of course I would. :rolleyes:So which would be best? And are there any additional things I should do prior to relaxing after all this time?

TIA ladies

bump... come on now, the search engine is ridiculous and not coming up with answers I need. I know there are some Phyto users on this board! Help a sista out! :nono::sad:

Ummmmm...what's Phyto??? I've heard of it here only? Is it a relaxer??? Sorry to jump on here with questions and no help...

I have never used Phyto. from what I understand Phyto I is the gentlest and people use that and get a texlaxed/texturized result. I only know of strength I and II. II is the strength that relaxes straight. But I also think it depends onthe texture of your hair and what results that you are looking for. I went on Amzaon.com and read alot of reviews and also went to the Sephora.com and other online sites for additional information. HTH

There's 3? Hmm I only know if Index 1 and 2.

Your hair texture and the desired result matter more than how much new growth you have. I use index 1 to texturize. I have thick 4a hair. If I wanted straight hair I'd definately go with index 2.

I don't know how many there are then, LOL. On the website it looks like there are three.... or is it just me? :look: I'm a 3c/4a, with thick hair. Well I guess it would be II for me.
