I want to try out the maxi glide especially since they are now offering the 30 day free trial. $15 is not bad when I get to preview this product for a minth. Well, my hair right now is super thick, short and kinky. My hair at its longest is only 4 inches. The front which grows significantly slower is a bit shorter. The website and infomerical state that the XP is for difficult thick hair. I would normally pick this one first because it is geared toward my hair type but it just too big. The plates are 2" wide. Now the MP with it 1 1/4" plates sounds much better but its a univeral product. Is there any real difference between the maxiglide XP and MP other than size? If not I plan to try the MP.
