Which K-Cutter is everyone using?

After an EXTENSIVE hunt through my city for the elusive k-cutter (because I am natural and I really want to be able to 'deal' with my 4a/4b hair), I found one but the teeth look like my afro fist pick like this http://store.yahoo.com/iwig/bp-571.html. But I don't think that's the one that is being raved about because people are ordering this one from ebonyline http://store.yahoo.com/ebonyline51/britprofkcut.html . So, please let me know which one works like butta because I am hoping it is the latter, as I can take the two back that look like the pick, but I can't return the four I ordered online!

TIA

Mine is the Solid Gold brand. I think it's a knock off because the handle is flimsy.

I use it on dry hair once every blue moon. I like the Hairsense Jumbo Rake much better than the K Cutter.

I know everyone raves about the K-cutter but I have found that it is a little harsh. Now I use a comb pick that is similar to the K-cutter but it is plastic and had bigger smoother teeth and it works like a dream

In your international wig link it is called the Jomb Rake.

Thank you ladies for the responses. I'm still not sure which one will work better, so I guess I will just have to wait and see when the other ones arrive.

its harsh for me too...maybe its because our hair isnt that long and the pointed parts can easily stick us in the scalp? i recently purchased a bone/handle rake comb from an LHCF member.

the ebony one, is the one I saw for about $2 I dont know what company, I have not gotten a K-Cutter yet, but I want one

God, y'all! This just takes me back to the early 70's!! My mom used to use one of these on my huge 'fro when Iwas a tot!
I remember it had a tortise shell handle and those loooong teeth. I used to think they were called "CAKE" cutters!!

Happylocks,

Did you buy this in a local store or online? If you bought it in a local store, could you tell me where. I live in Houston too, and have been looking with no success.
