Yeah, I was thinking of getting a new hooded, which will come in handy for roller sets which I don't do that much. So I was wonder if it was better for deep's which I do all the time
So, you think it's about the same results, only difference being the Noise?
I always did my deep conditioning treatments with dryers. But, when I thought about it, my hairdressers (who were great) back home (st. thomas)always did it with a heat cap. So I bought a heat cap and do it that way now. Just like allandra, i love the fact that it is quiet and I can do other things.
IMO, my hooded dryer works better (again, because of the heat being distributed evenly). I don't mind the noise. Besides, I surf the net when I'm under the dryer anyways.
The only reason I purchased the heating cap (Mastex - navy blue one) was because I read about it on a hair care board a long time ago.
Had I known then what I know now, I would not have purchased it (since my hooded dryer does the job).
