Which Design Essential Product?

So I went to a stylist in Baltimore. I was visiting a girlfriend of mine and we went to get our hair done together. The stylist was being very evasive about the products our "stylist secrets"... honestly I would probably continue going to her IF I didn't live 5 hours away in Pittsburgh. All I know is it was a Design essential product.

She washed my head, then placed a re-moisturizing treatment on my hair and scalp and let me sit over the bowl for 15 minutes. The product smelled like fruit and my scalp felt fresh and tingly. Does anyone know what product this is? My girlfriend was able to get a good look at the other products used. But I am looking for this particular one.

I use Design Essentials and I'm not sure which product you're talking about. Can you give any more information on that product?

You should ask your stylist directly what did she used on your head.

I asked her. She was being extremely evasive. The product was like some kind of pre conditioning product. Smelled like fruit, but it tingled so I'm thinking menthol was in it.

She washed my hair and while I was still at the bowl applied this treatment. I sat at the bowl for sometime, while this was in my hair. She then washed and deep conditioned me. I think this may be some kind of professional product. I haven't been able to find it in the stores.

Sounds like it could be their Stimulations Super Moisturizing Conditioner. It has peppermint in it, which may have been what gave you the tingling feeling.

Design Essentials has a product called 6n1 reconstructor that they used to sell to the public. My stylist in NYC used to use it years ago. Maybe that was it. Try amazon. They may still sell it.
