reviews please!
a few people said the Island shampoo made their hair hard.:ohwell:

I recently bought the Honeysuckle Rose Shampoo. Ambitious referred me to that one. I was suprised when I used it. It was creamy like shampoo normally is. It was slippery like a clear gel and it didn't lather. I think its a good alternative for people who want to do cowashes but don't get good results. I decided that I will only use it for my wanna be co-washes but I'll stick to Elasta QP for relaxed hair when shampoo'ing...its gentle.

Yeah, I was going to recommend the Honeysuckle Rose. I tried a couple others and didn't like them.

None of em! I'm so mad I could spit! I wanted to like them but they were too stripping for me.

The conditioners I love though!

I've tried White Camellia and Honeysuckle Rose Shampoos. My favorite is Honeysuckle Rose shampoo and also the conditioner!! :)

Green Tea clarifying shampoo.

For me the trick to getting their shampoos to lather is putting a few squirts in a spritz bottle full of warm water and shaking it up and the spraying it on. Diluting it also helps with that "stripped" feeling.

I've tried the honeysuckle rose also but it wasn't all that for me.

none of them, they made my hair feel like i shampooed with dish soap, try giovanni's smooth as silk, giovanni's 50/50 remoisturizer or elucence moisture balance shampoo

Aww man! I just ordered the AO honeysuckle rose shampoo & conditioner! After reading some of these reviews I'm skeptical now. Oh well :/

Awww, u never know they may work for you. Give reviews when u try them...

I used Primrose & Lavender scalp soothing shampoo on my daughter's 4b natural hair. It left her hair feeling a little stripped. Nothing major. AO GPB returned her hair to normal tho.

I agree with ElleB! Give it a try and it may or may not work for your hair. I felt the same way when I read reviews about it when I first started my hair care journey. Good luck! :)

Yeah, I'm not feeling the honeysuckle rose. I tried it again yesterday and I could barely get my fingers through my hair. I did a prepoo (that included evoo) so my hair was really soft when the water first started running through it but as soon as I applied the shampoo it felt dry and tangled and I couldn't get my fingers through. I had to rinse and apply my Elasta QP to get the slip just to be able to rinse. It was weird. I'm glad it works for some people because it has really good ingredients but I'm taking mine back to Whole Foods. I do like the MillerCreek Keratin Shampoo and Keratin Conditioner that I got from Whole Foods so they'll stay in my stock.
