Where's Heaven?

Olam haba, "heaven," traditionally another place after death of peace for those G-d has accepted. It is not a place of punishment. It's an actual place but where exactly? It could be up but also all around us, just in another plane of existence...just like hell. I think that metaphorically, "heaven" has come to mean a place of great peace/balance/desirable while upon the earth.

I believe Heaven is in the sky, just in another plane of existence like Guitarhero said.

Check out Genesis 1:

1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

9And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Heaven is also called the 3rd heaven, which is above earth, hell, and the solar system. Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4, speaks of this.

Heaven is also known as paradise and yes, the kingdom of God. Yes, those that have believed and trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior will go to heaven. Jesus said in John 3:3 "verily verily I say unto thee, except a man be born again; ye cannot enter into the kingdom of God"

I always wondered if it was the sun lol, since no man or anything can ever get near it....reminds me of the glory of God which is some of what what Moses experienced. Its the brightest, hottest place and the most important element in human existence because.... its absolutely crucial to the life system/cycle. But really, idk, my imagination is ridiculous anyway

Your post reminds me of the Zeitgeist video I watched a few years ago along with a few Illuminati videos I've seen on youtube. The videos talked about how Christianity got a lot of ideas from Eqyptian religion...

For instance, you know how the Bible says Jesus is the Son of God and the bright and morning star and how many Christians celebrate Easter because He is risen?

Well, the Sun in the sky is the bright star that rises every morning in the East.

When I was little, I used to think Heaven was just above the clouds and that God walked upon the clouds as we do upon the earth, leaving huge footprints.

Oh and when the clouds had an opening and the sun would shine through, I thought it was God's flashlight. :yep:

All to say that your imagination isn't 'alone' ....
