Have you ever tried a new product, whether its a conditioner, shampoo or moisturizer, and when you're done your hair looks and feels like you have less hair than before? I tried Sunsilk Anti-Poof conditioner, used some as a leave-in, cornbraided my hair up and took it out the next day. My hair feels lighter, too light, almost have a hollow feel to it.

YES! this happened to me last weekend. i had been pretty unkind to my hair: flat-ironing it two days in a row, not moisturizing properly, etc.

so i pre-conditioned with tresseme (with silk, vanilla extract, glycerin, and cayenne pepper), washed with giovanni tea tree shampoo, conditioned with giovanni smooth as silk conditioner, and it felt like my hair was a lot lighter than usual. also, looking at it from the side, it seemed a lot thinner.

it's been a few days, and i've washed 3x since then, so my hair has come back to normal, but it was still a strange experience.

:lachen:yep
sebastian wet knocks all of the frizz out of my hair and sunsilk anti frizz

Yeah my hair feels like that all the time after I wash it. It has no weight to it whatsoever.

I definitely felt that way after I used whack ole Aussie Deep COnditioner...My scalp was all white afterwards..I hated it.

Ugh, ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I like the way my hair looks when it's thicker, denser. Holds the shape of my shaped afro a lot better. Pookie, I'm going to wash it again this weekend, hopefully it'll snap back. ElleDoll, the thing is, I still got some frizz, so that stuff ain't do much to it.
