WHERE do you wash your hair?

Only in the shower. Washing in the sink or bent over in any kind of way takes me straight to TANGLE CITY.

If I'm just washing, ususally in the shower.

If I have a lot of conditioning to do--or color, kitchen sink or bent over the tub since there will be a lot of back and forth.

I usually try not to have to wash out a relaxer in the shower for obvious reasons.

Right. When I wash out my relaxer I do it in the sink.

I used to only wash it in the sink, but now I try and wash it in the shower, it makes the detangling proces so much easier.

If I'm doing a quick H20 rinse, I rinse over the tub.

In the shower, always. If I wash my hair in the sink or bent over the side of the tub my hair goes down the drain and I end up with the worst tangles.

Sink or bent over the tub with the drain closed (so my brastrap length hair doen't get caught down the drain!). I rinse using the faucet and the water that fills up in the sink/shower and whenerver water level gets high, I open the drain to let water out, then close drain again and keep rinsing until done. This allows me to take better care of my hair (deep condish, pretreat, whatever) since I'm too lazy to get in and out of the shower every half hour, hour, or whatever special treat I might want to do.

I spend a lot of time in west Africa (Liberia) where my family is from and very few showers there so things done the old-fashioned way and learned to wash my hair in a "bucket" with someone else pouring water over my hair for rinsing. Never a tangle. . . .

If it's just a co wash or shampoo and condition, in the shower. If it's chemicals or I will have to do several rinses, in the sink or over the tub.

Always in the shower if it's a regular wash and condition. My hair will tangle like crazy. For deep conditioning, I lean over the side of the tub.

The first time I saw my hair go down the drain of the garbage disposal of the kitchen sink :perplexed , I started strictly shampooing and conditioning in the shower. At the time, my tub faucet ran the water too close to the side of the tub for me to do it there but I may try again now that I have moved.

Shower or sink, depending on my mood. Usually I do CO washes in the shower deep condiitoning/shampoo in the sink.

Same here!

Definitely in the shower.............

Well, when I was little my hair was washed bent over the bathtub or in the kitchen sink. Now, I wash in the shower. Too many tangles any other way.

Ditto. Is there a more horrible feeling than seeing your hair go down the drain  Yuck!
Also, the top/front of my hair gets all frizzy if I try to wash or rinse in the sink.

I like washing my hair in the sink best because I can take my time and a lot of times I am going back and forth. My hair gets less tangled in the shower though. I think I'm going to start doing everything I have to do in the sink, apply conditioner and rinse it out in the shower. Hopefully I'll get less tangles this way.

I shampoo, condition and relax in the kitchen sink. I have children so I need to see what's going on at all times:lol:

I have to wash my daughters hair in the shower, her hair gets really, really tangled when I used to do it in the sink. She has waistlength 3c hair type so ya'll already know it's a fight when I take out her "special comb":lachen:
