Where are you ladies finding these cute hair accessories

I love hair accessories!

You know what's an interesting comparison? In our Product Exchange forum, most of the stuff being sold or swapped are products like shampoo, conditioner, leave-ins. On LHC (the mostly white version of LHCF), most of the swap stuff is accessories. I STAY stalking the swap forum over there and can never get anything good because those women will snatch it up quick, fast and in a hurry.

Okay, that said, what do you want? My favorite place for quality hair accessories is Etsy. They have a lot of handmade stuff that is much better than the cheap plastic stuff at Claire's (though I go there, too). Ebay's another one.

But for real, what do you want? Sticks? Forks? Barrettes? Headbands? Claws? Beaks? Flowers? Bobby Pins? What you need? :sekret:

Where did to find the one in your siggy?

Do you mean this one (for future, since I change my siggy frequently):

If so, I got that on Etsy from this seller. I bet he does custom orders, so if you want something in a particular design or wood, don't be afraid to ask. He is very pleasant to do business with.

That's pretty. I'll have to check him out. I'll be making some hair ties as soon as my equipment comes in. Thanks for the video.

Thanks OP I just bought some little headband last night because I couldn't really find anything cute. I can't wait until my hair is long enough to wear some of the accessories mwedzi listed. I am subscribing to this thread fasho!

Try your local beauty supply stores. Often they have really cute things at good prices. Also Ulta is a good source and I've occasionally found things at Target.

I'm loving etsy.com these days (I got some ideas from mwedzi -thanks girl). I wear my hair up 90% of the time and I need variety or I'd shave all my hair off. Prior to Etsy though, I found a lot at the drugstores in my area. Some of my favs -

I have more stuff coming from Etsy. I'll post when I get a chance.

These are to cute.

I second the ficarre maximas, nothing holds like them! The ficcarissimo is also excellent.

Quecraft has some bone items, which are ideal for damp bunning:

Baerreis has natural hand carved wood forks, excellent customer service, and a good reputation:

60th street also has an etsy store, which is a good place to see examples of what's already made:

If anyone is interested, I can take pictures of ficcares, baerreis, 60th street, and ketylo accessories in my stash

I've been looking for these for years. THANKS!!!!!!
