When I first joined the LHCF I heard so many raves about the Hennalucent experience, I was almost tempted to give it a whirl. I didn't though. I decided to wait and see if you guys still loved it after a few months before trying it. Well, the raves appear to have stopped. Is anyone out there still LOVIN' hennalucent

, or has it's fame gone the way of the Backstreet Boyz?

I'm still loving and using hennalucent. I only do one every 6 weeks though. There's just been no need for me to continue raving about it (because I've raved about it quite a bit). Do a search, and you'll see.

I'm still loving it. I use it once or twice a month. Sometimes Hennalucent, sometimes Lotus Powder. I get the same results with both, but the LP smells better and is all-natural. I'll be doing this to my hair forever!

And I still listen to my BSB CD's, too! "Quit playin' games w/ my heart..."

Thanx, Allandra for your response. I remember you were one of the fans. Glad to hear it's still working for you, girl. If it's still good for most of you, consider me in!

Sorry to offend you Sassy, but you knew it wasn't going to last. ("I want it that way!!")

I wasn't one of the original ravers, but I purchased it approx. 3 months ago (I think) and use hennalucent every 6-8 weeks. I consider it to be my light protein treatment. I don't plan to stop using it any time soon. It's easier for me to rinse out than the lotus powder.

Looks like Kaela didn't like it. Although, it usually takes a couple of times to see real results, right?

I'm not ready to say just yet whether I like or dislike the product...but the process is what killed me...

The Hennalucent colors are very messy. My very first time I used Bark Brown. My bathroom looked like something from a horror film!

And my hair turned out black.

Now I use neutral and add only enough water to make a stiff paste (I use it as a protein treatment/hair debulker). And even with the neutral it's hard to rinse out all the crud it leaves behind. I lather once with a super mild shampoo like Breakthru. You probably can't do this with color, though. I assume it would wash some of it out of the hair...

Sassygirl I read your post earlier and i was laughing my butt off because when I was rinsing that stuff out i could hear the gothic horror movie music in my head. I'm just so glad my man didn't see that he would have went nuts...

It was awful! And like a moron I waited until I was ready to rinse it out (three hrs later!) before I cleaned the tub, shower curtain, walls, floor etc. It was all caked up and crusty by then!
