When were you able to wear your first bun?

My hair is very thick and about 5.5-7 inches and I’m itching to wear a bun. I love the way they look and I need a new protective style.

Do you think I have enough hair/length for a bun? If so, can you tell me how to make them.

im just NOW able to make a bun (1 year and change later)...with no added hair. i've been wearing it all week. its such a great feeling...even tho it is an anorexic bun < sigh>

I think so... You may have to stretch your hair first though and do it dry...

Definitely.....

If you look in my album I have some pictures of a bun that I did for the first time this week.

It's not perfect, but it can be done.

It looks like to me you have half of the style. I would just tuck and roll the ends to make a nice donut.
