Is it Mango Body Butter from the Body Shop? Or some other manufacturer?

Probably mango butter from places like cedarvale.net or Elasta QP Mango Butter Moisturizer.

I'm pretty sure it's the Mango Butter made by Elasta QP. It's for the hair. It's a creamy hair dress/moisturizer. Smells wonderful too.

I really want to try that Mango butter. But nope, not gonna buy it when I have similar products in my stash. Heck, I can't find it in my area anyway.

HairLove,

The creamy products by Carol's Daughter are much better imo. I purchased one container of the Elasta QP Mango Butter when it first came out. I used it for a short while, and then I gave it away to a relative.

Don't worry. You're not missing out.

I just purchased Elasta QP Mango Butter and I thought it was great. I mainly use it on my ends after I wash my hair but I also put it on my hair when it is dry to keep it moisturized. Why didn't you like it Allandra?

It wasn't that I didn't like it. I had something in my hair care product stash that was already working well for me hair.

I've heard so much about this but I went to the beauty store and when I opened up the container, it kind of had a cake frosting texture. That looks like something that will be heavy on hair. I haven't bought it yet but tempted to. I need a true believer in this product to convince me :-)

I second that! The CDHHB is better IMO.

I use the Elasta QP mango butter. I use this instead of gel when I put my hair in a bun. It doesn't do much when the hair is dry, but gives a fantastic hold when used on my wet hair.

Allandra, how do the Carol's Daughter products compare to Kiehl's Silk Groom? Which one is closest to Silk Groom, the Hair Milk?

Kiehl's Crème with Silk Groom is thicker than the Carol's Daughter Hair Milk. The Carol's Daughter Hair Milk is oilier than the Kiehl's Crème with Silk Groom. To make my point, I actually like them both very much.
