the Elasta Mango Butter??
Thanks

They really are totally different and cant really compare.
real pure mango butter is kind of crumbly and not easily spread, but works wonderfully once melted and mixed with oil and allowed to cool to solidify again..its then soft.
the Elasta QP mango butter doesnt even have mango butter as its main ingredient, and it also has cocoa butter, the first ingredient is water, it also has lanolin and hydrolyzed silk, amongst other things. i like this product, but im just partial to the real thing and getting the full benifit of it by using it pure...they both feel totally different to the touch, and on the hair....you should just try them both and see what you think...the elasta QP does smell delicious though, unlike the pure mango butter that has no smell
Thanks Irresistible! I guess maybe my question should be which one is better for your hair??? Do they do two different things? Do you know what I mean?
i have the Elasta QP one, but i've never used it. i'm still having a love affair with the Recovery and haven't tried it yet.
i do use the pure mango butter in my body butter recipe. i LOVE it!! when i first made up the recipe, the chief ingredient was shea butter, but the mango butter smells so good, i add twice as much of that as i do the shea butter now. even though i call it a body butter, you can actually use it on your hair as well.
the recipe kinda changes every time i use it.
in case anyone's interested, here it is:
1/2 cup mango butter
1/4 cup shea butter
1/4 cup sweet almond oil
1/4 cup jojoba oil
1 tbsp bees wax
you just melt all the ingredients together, let cool a little, and pour into a container before it hardens.

Yes i still say they do two different things, although they both moisturize, they are totally different... i cant say which one is better , only my opinion which like i said i think more benifit comes from the pure
