When Humectress fails! / Egg-conditioner warning.

I can always rely on Humectress to get rid of ANY tangles and make my hair super smooth.
But...
I thought my hair needed some protein so I decided to try the 'mix egg with conditioner' thing it suggests on the back on my hair mayonnaise. I left it on for about an hour, rinsed and applied Humectress.
And ouch! Combing through my hair was hard work!
I'm going to do a deep (moisturising!) conditioning next time I wash my hair and hope it's back to normal then.

Whenever I used egg in my hair I only use the yolk, not the white because the white can get really stiff. Had no problems when I use the yolk.

I know... but I assumed if I used a moisturising conditioner afterwards it'd be ok! Maybe I should have tried some of that conditioner you use after an Aphogee treatment too.

Oh, that's good to know. I'll remember that for next time.

Actually that's makes perfect sense because the egg white is 100% protein w/out any fat where as the yolk is where your cholesterol/fat from eggs come from with minimal protein. (1 cup of egg whites yields 25 grams of protein/0 cholesterol, 1 cup of whole eggs yields 30 grams of protien/103 grams of cholesterol).

No we're not talking about eating them but this show the difference in the FAT that's contained in the whites vs. yolks. That's gonna clearly affect how it works on your hair.

HTH!
