When does post-relaxer start?

1. The week after you get the relaxer. Is that 1 week post?

OR

2. After your 6- 8 weeks when the relaxer is due?erplexed You start week 1? I'm thinking it is the first question. I dunno?

The first option. 1 week after you get a relaxer, you are 1 week post-relaxer.

ETA: My last relaxer was November 7, 2008 so I am 10 weeks & 1 day post-relaxer.

You start counting "post x amount" the day after. I sometimes say I'm 3, 5, 6, etc. days or weeks post.

Post relaxer to me starts straight after the relaxer has been washed out the hair. Whether a minute, day, week or month after.
Ofcourse, you wouldn't go around talking about being an hour post relaxer....

If it's only been a couple of days, I usually say, "I JUST got a touch-up."
