I notice new growth after a month of having my hair relaxed. I first notice it in the crown area. Then the rest will follow.

About 2 weeks for me. I see a teenie bit. By week 3 I really see it.

But, that is when my hair is wet.

By week 5, I start really being able to feel it all over.

I opted for the 2 week mark, BUT, sometimes after about 1 week I can feel new growth even though my hair is bone straight on relaxer day. It really baffles me! Sigh

I voted for two weeks. Yes my hair is still sleek but it doesn't have the swang it did during the first week of a retouch. I doesn't start to get REALLY noticeable until after 1 month.

I usually notice something in about 2 weeks. By week 4, where I am at now coincidentally, it is starting to get annoying with the dryness and breakage if I am not careful with it. This board has helped me a lot with managing this and I am trying to stretch again this month. I went for 7 last time so now I am going to try for 8, 9 if I can.

I chose 6 weeks or more. It happens like this...one day I wake up and wonder when my roots got so wavy. LOL. I feel as if I never *see* my growth come in before that time.

Well, lemme see: when I relaxed 3 weeks ago, I was already underprocessed. After 3 weeks, I can barely comb my hair. The only areas that don't appear to be too much growth are my edges and the front. But the crown and back has crazy NG.;)

Mine is the same way, but I notice it at 4-5 weeks. I swear I don't feel a thing until I wash it at around week 4/5, then, BLAMMO! Half an inch of new growth just pops up out of nowhere:lol:. It's weird!

I think I'm just not in touch with my NG, though. The MSM makes it a lot harder to detect, I guess.

I always start playin with my hair after the first month and the back right always has this fun little curl thats not like anywhere else on my head. So im guessing 3-4 since it has some stretch to it

For me its between week 3 and 4. I start noticing these beadies about then. About week 5 I got a mini fro starting.

it takes me about 4 weeks to see anything. THat is why i never understood relaaxing at four weeks, cuz my hair is still in shock

See, whenever I feel "newgrowth" after a week, I just think my relaxer wasn't bone straight, and I didn't notice it because she flat ironed my hair at the salon.

So I voted 2 weeks cause that's when I notice it the majority of time.

I would say about 2 weeks after a touch up mostly in my crown area. I was underprocessed during my last touch up 6 weeks ago, I really don't want to fight with my hair anymore so I will be doing a touch up today.
