I was wondering, a lot of you have mentioned that you get growth spurts when your head gets sore. My head got really sore last month and I experienced very good growth (2 inches), but my nails do the same thing. They will actually start to feel sore to the touch right under the nail bed. And if you push against the nail in the opposite direction it can actually be quite painful. A week later I will notice that they have grown out quite bit. Are any of you noticing the same thing?

I notice the sore head thing but not the nails.

That's great Edie, getting all that growth! You grow girl!

i notice actual sores/like bumps that hurt on areas of my scalp - is this the same thing????

I get "sores" in the crown or in other areas of the head. I kept massaging to stimulate the scalp so the areas that are "sore" can benefit from the circulation. I've never heard of the idea that when you get a "sore" head, your nails get that way. All I know is my hair is growing like always. Toodles

I had posted something about having a sore head from new growth a few weeks ago, it felt like I had tiny little needles in my head. is that what you mean?

No a sore head is just that sore. It is painful to press against that part of the scalp.
