When Do You Change Shower Filter Cartridge?

I trashed the box that my Paragon shower filter came in. For those that have a Paragon, how often do you change the cartridge?

Hello Starz,
Every five to six months then I flip it over and let the water run back through for another five months. After that, it's time for a new one. Since I am the only one using the shower, usually once per day, this change frequency seems suffient. The original directions say to change/ flip it every threee months, then replace for a family of four.
