When did you first fall in love with your hair?

As it hit about APL and I started co washing more

It happened for me when i passed the growing out stage (TWA awkward stage) to the growing and hanging down stage....when i could see my natural curl pattern for the first time in many many, many years.

I also fell in love when i realized that i could be a DIY for anything i wanted to do to my hair....salons suck!!!

I first fell in love when I saw my hair in the 1st pic. I still had relaxed ends, but when I saw the lovely curliness and it was so soft, it was love at first sight!



THEN, the next day when I saw it do this in pic #2, I absolutely fell head over heels! I couldn't believe this was my hair and I'd been killing the lovelyness with relaxers for sooooo long!

I feel that I have always loved my hair, I just loved it relaxed. But then I realized that I could wear my natural hair in beautiful styles without having to straighten it or use products to "change" it and that's when the all out love affair began .

I mean seriously since that time I'm always stroking, caressing it, taking pictures and babying my hair. It's just ridiculous.
