when cotton pillowcases attack

So the other night I went to a party and ended up unexpectedly crashing at a friend's house. I didn't have a scarf or bonnet because I didn't expect to stay over and unfortunately, all he had in the guest room were cotton pillowcases. I threw my twist-out into some cornrows hoping that that would curb some of the damage, but I still woke up with dry, frizzy hair.

What do you ladies do to deal with surprise situations like that? :ohwell:

I used to keep a mini spray bottle with water and my favorite rinse out conditioner mixed together to spray my hair in times of need. It usually holds me over till next wash.

I just use my arm as a pillow. I don't like taking chances. Lol

I'd put my hair up, or in plaits and then drape a my t-shirt or dress over the pillow, (say if its jersey cotton) or i go really old school and take off my tights put them on my head and wrap the legs and tie them up.

The tights actually works pretty well. I used to do that when i was a child.

I baggy my hair for the night with a plastic grocery bag (unless a shower cap is available).. Works every time

Is it crazy that I find no really difference between using a satin pillow case vs a cotton one?
