I have been at the hospital all day with my brother and I come in here to see this thread. I cannot tell you how much I have appreciated reading this. thank you ALL!!!!! I really needed this.

I just got in...and was like....let me take a quick scan of the board :sekret: ....

Y'all are mean!!!:lachen: Love y'all though! Ya'll are so good for a laugh and thank you for laughing with me... :hug2:

Okay, the touch-up :look:...went well.....

*basing was not needed, but I do recommend basing when an actual scalp is involved...*

*No baggying for real hair or the wig...:ohwell:*

*There will be no heavy protein treatments either*

I got the hair texture more to my liking. It's still lacking moisture though...that's the issue...when the moisture evaporates it doesn't lay down the way I want.....:ohwell:

*if the hair falls off of the tracks....then we know...a neutralizer should've been used...:perplexed but so far...so good...:yep:

@Mestiza...I thought we wuz cool...

@ Cupcake, girl...I ain't use none of my CON (green label) on this piece...I washed with some White Rain brown bottle poo...

Yes, I do think some conditioner is in order....:yep:
@ Sylver, I just may have to break out the DDC...but not sure if I want to use it on the ole wig though....I might use some of the olive oil conditioner from the jug in the closet...

@ Leslie...I dusted the ends...:look:...and I used a lye pre-mixed jar
*the wig does not get Phyto...I ain't completely lost my *&((*& mind yet*

@ Keen .....Human hair wig...it's one of the joints with the 'U' in the middle so you can blend your hair into it. It's more of a full wig than a half-wig wig in retrospect...

It's gonna be a long winter after spending all spring and summer with my hair out. My hair does not like the cold/wind...so undercover she goes...:ohwell:

Awww mscocoface....hoping everything is alright.

Glad you got a smile out of this today. :) :hug2:

:look: Ummm...Mona, maybe next time you should add some protein and oil to the relaxer and coat the ends in silk. I have been getting excellent results with these additives. Definitely cuts down on the post-relaxer dryness. I would also recommend something with ceramides after rinsing. Uhh, just a suggestion  Maybe that piece won't come out so dry next time

see you still suffering from dryness, that is what the baggying is for...thank you for this very fun thread today. I am sure we ALL needed that!
