When a guy asks what you're doing later...

do you assume he's asking because he wants to do something with you later or just being friendly and/or making conversation?

I wouldn't assume anything unless he actually asks me to do something. Sometimes that question could lead to him asking you to do something with him later. Otherwise it's just friendly conversation. :yep:

Usually when a guy has asked me what I'm doing later on that day, it typically means that he wants to do something w/you, or he wants to know if you're free so that you can join HIM in doing something.

HOWEVER...I wouldn't go TOO crazy about this though because unless you two are already in a relationship, it also proabably means that his other "choice" fell through, and you're his next best pick in line. This has sad-to-say usually been the case when guys have asked me "last minute" like this. It basically means he wants to hang with you, but he might not have thought out and planned out in advance what to do with you.

It's not a BAD thing per se, but it could just mean that his other plans w/someone else fell through and you're "next in line". :ohwell: He didn't plan things in advance in other words and ask you on a formal date.

Either way, he must like you a at least a little bit to be asking you, because he must like spending time with you.

I wouldn't think too hard about it.

In my case, it's not someone that I actually know well. I don't think we even know each other's names. We just ran into each other by chance. I've seen him a few times before then. He actually invited me somewhere the previous time I saw him, but I just shrugged that off as being friendly. It was more a tag along with he and his friends type thing.

1. His other plans fell through and he wants to do something with you
2. Nosey
3. He may just want your company

I say go if you have nothing else planned. I am sure Rules girls are going to say otherwise though. I will tell you what, go out and have fun and let the rules girls wait for the call Mon-Wed for that weekend date.

Why it got to be in that order? :lachen:

I find that if i don't answer his question and say, "Why, what's up with you?", he usually tells me what he meant by asking that question and it also give me a minute to think of some way to ditch him if i'm not interested.:yep:
