Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

I am with the ladies on PJism I need to use up all products
I currently own and stop buying products because it's a deal.
Be consistent with protein shakes.

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resolution?

My New Hair's Resolution is...

to transition to natural with the help of the baggie method and maybe braids

to continue not being a PJ, not using excessive heat, and not over-manipulating my hair

to get rid of the products I have by using them up and go back to using less produts than the few I have

to go back to a simple hair regimen like I had before I joined this forum

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

**no more pjism...I have more than enough products for every step.

**stick to a challenge:

**no cutting my hair: I have habit of getting frustrated or whenever I'm down and cutting hair. find another way to "change" my look.

**Love every length /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

1.Something has to be done with my Pjsm. I cant go on like this no more.
2. Continue to not use heat too often.
3. Remeber to continue taking my huge, oversized vitamins

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

I would like to be more consistent with my vitamin intake, surge usage, and rinsing my hair.

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

Limit my intake of PJs until I run out.

Limt my heat usage; my hair loves not having so much heat that it can possibly fry it to death.

Continue my protective styles and Baggie Method until my hair gets to bra clasp.

More Conditioner Washes, rinsing, weekly deep conditioning, and monthly hot oil treatments.

Increased supplement intake.

And definetly, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.

Wear my silk scarf and satin durag to bed nightly.

Finally, relaxer touchups every 4 months. I love you, my precious head of hair. I'll take very good care of you until the day I die. /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

My resolution is to reach my goal of 20" by summer. After that my main goal will be to maintain healthy ends and accumulate more length (no pressure after 20").

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

** Return to regular Deep Conditioning
** Stop obsessing, it'll grow!
** Air dry as much as possible
** Reduce styling that requires tension

And I think Tami summed it all up well....
** Keep maintaining length & Keep heat @ a minimum! /images/graemlins/up.gif

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

Let's see:

1. Take excellent care of my ends, so that I will only have to trim ONCE this year. This should put me at waist length before year's end.
2. Stick to all the challenges I'm involved in.
3. Go back to washing once a week since I'm going to be working out everyday again.

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

*Continue with my current regimen and products b/c they seem to be working very well.
*Figure out what to do with my unused products. Throw away or give away the ones I know I have no intention of ever using on my hair again. i.e. Marcel Wax
*Stick with deep conditioning once a week or every two weeks
*Stick with vitamins even though I'm not consistent
*Love my hair at every length and not be jealous that my hair isn't like someone else's
*Keep my ends healthy so I will only need to trim every 4 months
*No heat, except for trims

Re: What\'s your New Hair\'s Resoluation?

Great thread!

1. Take more pictures of hair growth progress

2. Journal everytime I use a new product and how I felt about the new product so weed out all of the products that I don't need to re-purchase.

3. Take the rest of the vitamins that I have purchased but work on getting nutrients from food and drinking water.

4. Use up most of my hair products.

5. Continue to keep the back of my hair braided and comb out braids every day after washing. Keep hair like this for another year.

6. Be more consistent with using Nioxin products.

7. Not being obsessive over how much my hair has grown.

8. Keep hair healthy in hopes of reaching tailbone length by the end of the year.
