My favorite is a recipe of 32oz of conditioner and half a box of indian powders. I use shikakai and amla one of the ladies on the site gave this. I had just started washing with the "tea" but the 15 minute rinse was too much time under the water for me. This option works great though. I use Jasmine oil to oil hair first, then I apply this conditioner mixture, I then put on a baggy and do chores. One hour later I rinse in the shower.

going to try this. I agree with the bolded.

I warm some castor oil and after it is warmed I add some alma powder and Brahmi powder. I massage it into my scalp and hair put a plastic cap on and use as an overnight conditioner. I wash with the a conditioner or poo and style as usual. It makes my hair feel nice and strong.

I use Shikakai Powder with a Touch of Cassia Powder and a Splash of Amla Oil, and I mix it with very very warm water and mix it until it looks like brownie batter, then I apply it all over my hair and scalp going in the same direction, and I let it sit for about 35 minutes and my scalps starts to feel so cool and clean, then I rinse apply Suave conditioner and let it sit, or deep condition.

Then I rinse that aout and apply a bit of the Amla oil to my hair and massage it in really good & style!

I am never using shampoo again, I love this Shikakai Powder! My hair comes out very soft!
