Okay, so I voted 30-45 minutes and promptly broke it yesterday! I did my aphogee treatment and put my DC in, with steam, for 30 minutes. I could've washed, but just decided to leave it in for another 75 minutes while I ate and played on the boards.:giggle: The only time I get back in the shower is to rinse out aphogee, otherwise I just stick my head over the tub and rinse. If I don't get all the conditioner out, my hair doesn't mind.

I usually just DC overnight. but one Friday night when I put it on I wasn't feeling the best so I put some hair mayo in took so nyquil and figured I'd feel better and rinse it in the morning as usual but when I woke up I felt like booty. I DC'd the whole weekend until monday morning when I HAD to rinse it out for work that morning.

I did an overnight condition for the first time last weekend. I might do it again for how great my hair felt when twisting, but sleeping in the saran-wrapped head covering was too much for me...I think I'll stick to a couple of hours...

I've DC'd overnight before, so I'm guessing that's about 5-10 hours. I remember watching seeing an interview or a video with the model Jordan Richardson in it, and she said she DC's the entire week. I saw it on youtube. I have to re-watch that video. I remember being in disbelief and wondering how one can deep condition for an entire week, but I guess it's possible.

I do this too. I just leave my conditioner in sometimes, especially if I'm hiding my hair w/a half wig or putting in a wet bun. I don't rinse out for over a week or until I rinse or CW next. It doesn't harm my hair, just keeps it moist.

one time i left mines on for about 36 hours. big mistake for my hair... my hair so mushy afterwards, i corrected it with a light protien trmnt... but ever since that, no longer than 15-20 mins.

Overnight to actually "condition" my hair with saran wrap, etc.

I usually have some form of conditioner in my hair at all times, especially when wet bunning.

I picked 5-10 hours...

I do follow that directions for deep conditioning/pre poo with coconut oil and it says to leave on for 8-10 hours.

On purpose I DC overnight and washed out in the morning. I voted 10-15hrs. I done this twice learning from the ladies on the board. I applied it on dry hair but of course adding the conditioner makes it wet. I don't really like sleeping on wet hair, but I think it works. So I will do it again another time.

The longest I've ever DC would have to be a week so I voted 48+. Sometimes I do this a lot especially if I'm constantly braiding my hair. I'll leave my deep conditioner in while I braid my hair and because I do my own individuals/micro braids it takes me a couple days. I always say I'll rinse my braids when I'm done, but I get lazy after doing all that work and I end up waiting a week before I touch my hair again.

24 hours…because I was truly LAZY…although I hate sleeping with conditioner in my hair…that means…plastic cap, with paper towel around the edges…then a head scarf tied as tight as possible…and I STILL wake up with conditioner crust on the sides of my face and pillow!!

About six consecutive days three weeks ago with L'occitane's repair and shine masque.I just kept reapplying the deep conditioner everyday under the pocessing caps. My natural hair neeeded that. I think it may have been the only time I have seen zero broken hairs in my comb. I will be doing something like that again next week.

I put some GF deep con tx on my hair about 3 days ago and since then I flat ironed it :perplexed:look::drunk::spinning: not sure what will happen when I rinse it but it can't be that bad . . . can it.

overnight

i was on a regimen of nightly overnight conditioning and then cowashing in the morning. dry Dry hair after my BC

two days :look:

didn't feel like getting back in the shower & rinsing out!

i've noticed though that my hair never got mushy. i DC'd with a moisturizing conditioner (AO White Camellia) & my hair felt fab. i noticed that the further along in my transition i go, the more moisture i need.

Me too, I never have a problem with mushy hair.

24 hrs. and it was really hard to sleep soundly that night. However, my hair was detangled and so soft.
