I think I want to venture into trying styles with caruso rollers, for when I want to wear my hair down.

And if you can, please include price and where to buy!:)

I got minefrom Sallys for maybe $20-30. It's been a few years so I can't recall the exact price. Thats the only type I've tried so can't say if they are "the best" or not but, they left my natural hair frizzy after a few hours. I haven't used them in months, I may use them again to give em one more try.

Thanks MsDee. I was hoping you would reply!:D

The only two brands of steam rollers I have ever seen are Caruso and Vidal Sassoon. They are both made by the same company, Helen of Troy. (http://www.hotus.com). The Vidal Sassoon steamer looks just like one of the Caruso models. I've seen them at Walmart, Target, Sallys and on eBay and I believe Folica.com

For me the most important thing for me was to have enough rollers. I bought extras in different sizes. I believe I have 40-50. Will be heading to get my set out of storage, if I ever stop wearing phony ponies and wigs, or decide to set my wig.

I think I read on here that Conair makes their own model too, but, I have never seen it.
