My hairstyle all summer was a wash n go. Now that its getting colder I need to wear my hair striaght, its too cold to walk out with a wet head. I rollerset and flat ironed my hair yesterday, but as soon as I walked outside it started to frizz. What is a good product that I can use on my rollerset that will stop my hair from reverting back to curly?

I look crazy walking around with hats on outside when its only 60 degrees out!:lachen:

I would try Fantasia Polishing serum. Put about a quarter dollar sized amount over your tresses (you have long hair so Imma say about two) and smooth all over until you get to the ends. The ingredients from the Fantasia are the same as teh Sabino, only it's cheaper.

Question: I have naturally very curly hair, so if its straight and I put a serum on my hair, wont the serum cause it to revert? I know that when my hair is straight and I try to use a water based product it will curl back up.

I am transitioning, 11 months post. I straightened my hair last week and applied a serum. It seems that frizz is inevitable for my roots but the serum helps it ten times fold.

I am in my 12th month of transitioning,, and the same problem with the humidity when rollersetting.. Beautiful rollersets until I hit the outside. I would love to hear some options.

from my research you will want to use a gel based serums like the ladies were mentioning sabino, ic those are all kind of gel based, as long as you don't use anything that is cream based you should be ok, john frieda has good frizz serums as well all gel types not creams. the creamy based "frizz" stuff will cause the hair to revert because they are more moisture based. to keep your hair straight you will need to block the moisture out. hth

If you apply the serum while your hair is still wet, then it shouldn't increase frizz. After it dries I would avoid all things wet. A little oil or butter added on top of the finished style , may also help to seal the moisture in and the water out. HTH

I would second Sabino Moisture Block.

It is phenomenal. I have a child who goes from curly to fuzzy....never really kinky...and Sabino is the only thing in 11 years to keep her hair straight, no matter what her activity - sweating in her sleep, running track, etc.

It's the bomb.

Good luck with whatever you choose, but Sabino is phenomenal. No exaggeration!!

Now those are some GREAT results . I use Sabino but it doesn't block that much for me! If you don't mind, please share exactly how YOU use Sabino on your daugthers hair. Thanks!
