what\'s s-curl/olive oil for?

I've read serveral messages referencing s-curl and olive oil. What are these products used for? How are they used?

A lot of the ladies here use S-Curl (or some of the other curl activators) to moisturize their hair. As for the olive oil, it's used as a pre-shampoo aka hot oil treatment before shampooing, mixed in with conditioners or used to apply to the hair and ends. HTH.

Thank you so much for your reply and warm welcome to the forum. I'll give olive oil and S-curl activator a try. Any suggestions for pulling together a healthy ponytail?
