Surge, Surge, Surge. I really think that using Surge on my scalp has made a huge difference. I had to give up the MTG. I couldn't take the smell, or the greasy feeling. But Surge has given me at least an inch of growth that I didn't have prior to using it. I am a Surge devotee.

Tonight I tried the Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive treatment line.

Maybe I need to give it a day or so. My hair feels ok, since its so late and I didn't want to go to bed with sopping wet hair I dried it with the drier on cool (which takes about an hour)

My hair isn't rough feeling or anything. It feels quite moisterized and all but just feels :perplexed

Que Pasa everyone! I'm a newbie! I finally made my LHCF addiction offical!! But anyways I'm currently using Organic Root Stimulator: No More Flakes! I don't particularly suffer from flakes but the ingridents seem great! It contains NO petroleum and mineral-oil and contains Horsetail, Nettle, Garlic and Kola Nut. And for those who are torn with the grease=bad, and slowed growth, THIS is perfect, b/c it's not a GREASE in the conventional sense of the word. But is thick enough to make you feel like you are adding something to your scalp (Oil doesn't cut it for me)!

I voted other...but I meant other as in "nothing"...not my own mixture. There's too much new growth up in there for me to try to get to my scalp at this point, unless it's to clean it...I washed my hair yesterday.

Nothing. I don't really put things on my scalp because it's not dry. It's normal on most of my scalp and slightly oily along the hairline. Everytime I put products and oils on my scalp I get bumps and my scalp itches.

Scalp:My own concoction of MTG ( sulphur powder, olive oil, eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil,+ maskriti oil (that haitian stuff).
Hair: infusium23 leave-in + ORS lotion on the ends

I've put it on my scalp yesterday night, separated my in four parts, did 4 bantu knots, satin scarf, and hopped in bed.
This morning, I rinsed my hair, fingered massaged my scalp a bit, put everything in a bun (with a little mouse), olive oil lotion on my ends and phony afro puff, nice blue scarf, and hop! to school.(nop, it doesn't stink:)

wow.. this really looks like a lot ... but I think not. What do you think?

Hello!

Just curious? ;)

What do youhave on your scalp or in your hair this very minute that you are reading this post?

My skin... You know I had to be a 'smartie'...;)

Actually, I have on fresh smelling Coconut oil, today. But it's usually Castor oil.

I have Naturallady's recipe for MTG on my scalp right now and my hair has really grown since I started using this. Others have noticed that my hair has grown too. So I would like to thank her for giving me her recipe.:D

I have a mixture of Jojoba oil, peppermint oil and rosemary oil. :D

a mixture of caster oil and essential oils of rosemary, spearmint, and tea tree. (ILL ADD SOME SAGE TONIGHT THO)

lol- on my scalp- Surge and my MTG formula(mixed with a lil surge, rosemary oil and peppermint oil and a touch of WGHO and cayenne pepper)

on my hair- infusium moisturizing treatment, garnier fructis conditioning leave in, extra liso combing cream, topped off with elast qp glaze and s-curl. ( I just washed my hair) in a really perfect Bun.:D

Actually there is nothing on my scalp now. My scalp was always itchy and flakey and I got word to just stop putting oils and hair dresses on my scalp. It's worked WONDERS. No itching! No flaking. Now I just apply the Mizani H2O Intense Night Cream to the length of my hair only. A little does work down to my new growth and it keeps it very soft and manageable. My dream cream...I shan't ever leave its side.

GREASE!:D (Nature's Blessings to be exact - see my avatar?!:) )

I put it on once or twice a week on whatever day I shampoo my hair. It seems to stay there all week and I really don't need to reapply. Really it helps soften my roots and new growth.

Normally I never put anything on my scalp because it just irritates me. But out of curiousity I recently mixed jojoba oil w/rosemary and lavendar essential oils. I put this on my scalp and I have no problems w/it. I will def keep using this mixture-it's very soothing w/no irritation.

I just washed my hair today. I'm sporting the Aveda Sap Moss concentrate as a leave in and Amla oil. Nice results.:)
