Okay, I finished the lionshare of my hard finals so I decided to take out my braids yesterday. Thanks to all the advice on takeout- I manages not to tear my hair completely out even though I had major matting. Anyways, I posted a fresh out of the shower picture again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA.

I'd like to know too, I have a section of hair that looks just like that, and the hair in my crown area is naturally crimpy. You look like a pretty version of Ya-Ya btw :yep:

I'm not good with "hair typing", don't even know what my own hair type is, but you have gorgeous hair. You are also one beautiful young lady!

i think its all 3b or all 3 something (i know i'm not much help) i dont see any type 4 your curls are too big in width, luv em by the way. do you ever sport the wash an go?

No I've yet to master a wash and go my hair shrinks as it gets dry and I have more frizz that definition. I plan on trying the curl pudding shingling thing when I get back to calie (and next my hooded dryer). Thanks btw.

It looks like a mix between 3c and 4a. Thats just my guess....You braids looked nice btw....It looks like my hair thats why I said that.

Thanks for the input. So I guess from the responses I'm 3b and/or 3c and/or 4a. This typing stuff is still confusing to me (I know it's not a big deal). I definately think that I've got at least some 4a because my hair shrinks. But that's neither here not there, just wanted to say thanks for the feedback.

yeah, you should always go by the hair closest to your roots since it's the youngest and will show your curl pattern better (because it's had less abuse heat/texturizer). HTH!
