What's good gel/product for a braidout

I am wearing a braidout today because I am wanted to spice it up a little. I love my bun, but I needed to do something a little different.

Is there a product that anyone can suggest for a braid out to hold the waves a little longer. I used my trusty s-curl and break-free but I didn't want to use any strong hair gel to make my hair hard and dry looking.

I use Garnier Fructis curl and shine(leavein/moisturizer) with a little bit of aloe vera gel then add alittle bit of oil or serum. My hair did not frizz out and stayed wavy all day.

Divine, what kind of serum are u using? Are u ladies using regular Aloe Vera gel that I can get in CVS?

a. Fantasia IC shine gel with sparkle lites
b. Miss Jessies Curly Pudding
