Mine too! This might be the nail in my LHCF coffin
This is y’all punishment for only bumping old threads, and not starting new ones.
Right! Where the mods at?Why are these people posting when we have to pay?
That is a good idea. I will start to report them as spam too.I just reported the recent threads as Spam. If enough of us do it maybe we can get some answers and the mod(s) can make it stop.
I think so and I got a google alert. I don’t want to leave ya’ll. We are family!!Has this whole forum been hijacked? The web address is different; has an "s" at the end: https://longhaircareforums.com/
I had to re-log in and got a warning from Chrome. Then I noticed all the madness...
Has anybody heard from the admins? @beverly can you shed light on this? What's going on?
Edit: What about @dimopoulos? Is he still the admin?
Also: Is the search function broken/have we lost old content?!
I love this community and would feel so lost without it...This is really alarming.
I went through the same thing After the update the other day.Did everyone get logged out and had to sign back in? That's what happened to me a few days ago. I wondered why I had to sign in again. I'm always signed in.
This is fishy
forgive me if this was mentioned elsewhere.
I don't think this is a bug, lol. It looks very much on purpose, they get their threads tagged MTO/TSR, it looks like a cash grab partnership to drive clicks to their sites. And you can't even ignore these new thread starters. All this makes me wonder if the last update created a bug/vulnerability in the site to enable bots to post on the site. Maybe the bug is located in the entertainment section code?
That is a good idea. I will start to report them as spam too.
I messaged dimopoulos about the issues. Not expecting a reply, just wanting to let him know.
Does anyone know beverly, shimmie, or any staff personally? If so, could you please reach out to them via phone, email, text, facebook/instagram message. etc?
He responded to a few other threads about the forum changes. I'm hoping he'll respond here too.Has this whole forum been hijacked? The web address is different; has an "s" at the end: https://longhaircareforums.com/

This has all the signs of being hijacked. I had to log in too, which is strange we need to change our logins if this gets sorted out.Has this whole forum been hijacked? The web address is different; has an "s" at the end: https://longhaircareforums.com/

Good morning
One of the features of the new (upgraded) forum is to import content from other sites. We enabled media takeout and the shade room (MTO/TSR prefixes) to help with the posting in the Entertainment section.
I have made a change to the importer and the imported content gets posted under the user "RSS Import" (instead of the original name of the article author).
I will point Beverly to this thread to offer more insight and opinion.
