What moisturizer(s) do you use and how often? I'm more than sure that there are threads about this, but I'm still trying to familiarize myself with this forum. Thanks.

Are you referring to wet or dry hair...
I like Proclaim's Shea Butter for Dry hair
And, KUZ revitalizing wax, and Motions Silk Protein for wet hair...
Those are the ones I can think of str8 off top of head...

Keep a small spritz bottle of 100% water (or 1 part water and 1 part your favorite leave in moisturizer) in your purse. After you go to the bathroom, spritz your hair at the same time you wash your hands.

Your hair will look like Helen of Troy's within a week and a half.

Thanks ladies...What do you all think of WOOjEE Cream by Surge? Ever tried It?

More like Woojee "Water" than cream...mad watery, plus it has protein in it, which makes ur hair dryer.

I really really like Elucence as a moisturizer. Its a conditoner but can also be used as a leave in on wet or dry hair. I havent had a dry hair day yet since using this stuff :) Funny thing is my hair seems like it is is better conditon after getting the highlights lol. But Im not jinxing myself.

no i havent tried the woojee cream co si heard some bad reviews about it. For daily moisture, i spray my homemade spritz mizture and then add my leave in, salerm 21

So what is your homemade mixture consist of??

UBH is the best moisturizer I have ever tried and ORS Olive Oil is second.
The Woojee Cream made my hair dry I think the Moisture Aid is better not has drying.

How is this working out?
Where did you get the glycerin and the rosewater?

I have a small spray bottled filled with mostly water, daily conditioner, and a little soybean oil. Other times, I use a few drops of oil to seal in the moisture I already have. Since I condition several times a week, a daily moisturizer isn't really needed.

Yes I like it but I would not buy it again. :nono:

However when I combined the Woogee Cream with some water and put it in an empty bottle and sprayed it on my hair, it stayed moisturized all day. :)

I use this mixture as a detangler and moisturiser since all the commercial detanglers i tried didnt work. I got my vegetable glycerin from ebay and i got my rose hydrosol from http://www.mountainroseherbs.com . I also make my own rosewater from rose petals. And yeah, when i spray it all over my hair, it softens up my hair. i also just added 2 drops of honey to the mixture and i will be adding some sodium lactate when i receive it

I love it, love it, love it (I think me and CaramelHonee are the only ones that use it)....most folks hate it...

.it's perfect for my hair...especially dealing with new growth, softens my edges and ng right up.

I bugged the guy in the bss so much, he just went and ordered a dozen bottles in the store for me.

UBH Creme conditioner is great, a lesser priced, but comparable choice would be Elasta QP Oil Recovery.

I have tried this and did not like it. The product just sat on top of my head, it didn't moisturize at all and seemed to dry up on my hiar too.

I like Myhoneychild Honey Hair Soy Milk as a moisturizer on dry or wet hair. I used to hate NTM SIlk Touch Leave-In because I was using it to blowdry my hair and it was leaving flakes in my hair so I gave it away. I received a sample of this and decided to try it on dry hair and, surprisingly, it worked better and I liked it. One of my favorite moisturizers is Soft and Beautiful Botanicals Creme Moisturizer and I also like Motions Herbals Mango Butter.
