What works for your hair type??? BT vs MTG

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum. My cousin recommended this to me and she's been using MTG with great results. I believe she's a hair type 4a or 4b.

As for me, my hair is natural and I think I'm a type 2b or 2c. Maybe you all could help me determine...

Anyway... I've read the other thread about BT vs MTG and I get that most prefer BT over MTG (seems like it's mostly about the smell though) but I didn't see anything about what it does in reference to certain types of hair.

So... it would be helpful if you guys could post your hair type (according to the options from the hair type section of LHCF website), which hair growth product you prefer, and how it's worked for you.

I have the same hairtype as you. I use BT AND MTG together and I have gotten great results.

I have 4a/b texture and I've used both BT and MTG and they both worked excellent for me. There was really no difference besides the smell.

BT refers to Boundless Tresses. It’s a sulfur based growth oil created/sold by a former LHCF member. The brand has been defunct for years.

I made my own sulfur oil. I used Green Beauty’s recipe. It’s thickened up my hair a lot.
