lots of oils - again strands are too fine

ORS pack- smell was too strong and made my throat itch and it didn't do anything special for my hair

There are others but those 2 stand out the most.

Henna didn't go well the first time, but Ima give it one more chance.

Let's see, mine are:

Lacio, Lacio= Dry, Dry Dry
ORS pak= Did nada
Emergencia- I had a drought emergency by the time I rinsed this out
Coconut Oil- Made my ends start breakin off
Giovanni Direct- Wanted it to work, did nada
Airdrying= Poof/Frizz city (while stretching)
Elasta QP Mango Butter- I need to throw this mess in the trash
NTM(Neutrogena Triple Mess)- This stuff has a ton o' cones
Oil rinsing- Almost slipped and broke my neck in the tub

CON Shampoo. My hair hates that stuff! That slip I feel in the shower fades when my hair starts feeling dry and nasty once its dry.

ORS Pac My hair felt nasty and sticky.

Motions Moisture Plus I like the way it rinses so well, but it really does not give me lasting moisture.

the MMP, gived GREAT slip, but doesnt give me much moisture. But then again, I never found a DC that did

There is almost nothing sadder than readnig rave reviews about a product and then trying it yourself only to realize that it is just not for you.

When have you had this experience?

For me, it was ORS Replenishing Pak. I wanted to love this stuff. Unfortunately, even though it made my hair feel like butta, I couldn't use it because it made me itch.

Also, BT didn't do anythign for me . . . I wish it did, though. I still have my container sitting right on my bathroom counter because I know sooner or later new testimonies will start popping up and I'll be itching to give it another try.

What about you?

MTG-Didn't mind smell, got tired of having oil residue on my pillows, blankets, etc.

WGO-Awesome lubricant, viscosity too heavy for my hair.

Big Badd Conditioner- With heat, Yea. As a leave in, Nay.

Affirm Relaxers- Didn't work out for me.

Frenchees- My hair was xtremely greasy, it's heavy and smelled my hair smelled like hickory.

Burnt Sugar Pomade-Smell was overwhelming.

What didn't work:

-NTM: Breakage
-Baggying: More breakage

What has worked:

-Wrapping hair every other night
-Nexxus humectress mixed with Mizani rose H20 (I'm sorry humectress, I will never turn my back on you again)
- GF sleek and shine mixed with coconut oil

WGO-The stuff just plain stinks, I couldn't bare the smell long enough to see if it worked for me
Absolutely no heat- my hair just doesn't act right w/o it.

Lacio Lacio conditioner (did nothing), although I like the Lacio leave in for some reason.

Salerm conditioner (smelled like granny's purse). I have never tried the leave in though.

Ok, y'all gonna hurt my feelings over the Amla oil. I always rinse it out so the smell is faint.

But that Wild Growth oil? This stanks way worse than any Amla.

Bagging the ends of my hair-- Left me with a wet chewed up looking pony tail
Suave Milk and Honey conditioners---My hair is really soft when dry but my hair tangles sometime awful when I rinse my hair after a co-wash. If there is anyone in the Atlanta area who can meet me at Cumberland Mall I will be more than happy to give away my remaining supply of this stuff
