I've heard silk scarfs are the best because they do not absorb moisture, like cotton. I'm using the fake label scarfs from the bss. Does anyone know where I can buy large silk scarfs?

I got mine from walmart in the hair section, but lately I have been using Satin caps because the scarves were giving my edges trouble.

I've been using silk but in a way i miss using the triple gro satin...it smells so nice. Am still unsure as to which is best...

Pure silk from EBAY...I rotate the ones I do not use for my wardrobe. I am wrapping them loosely{ and they stay intact all night} so I do not disturb my twists..want them to last for at least two weeks this time.

Is silk better than satin? I always thought silk was absorbent because it was a natural fiber and so I've been using satin scarves. I learn new things every day here! :)

I have both Silk Scarves and Satin Pillowcases.

The Scarves, I clean weekly with Shampoo I didn't like or not used:look:

Just for going to bed? Thrift stores or consignment shops where they have nice brands for cheap!!! I have a Mercedes silk scarf and it only cost 3 bucks. I won't pay lots for a scarf to get all muddied up with oil in it.

I'm thinking this is the case for me. I made a decision today to go back to the satin cap just to see if my theory is correct.
