What type of hair??

I broke down yesterday and got cornrows...So I go to this African braid shop a random pick b/c what I want is pretty basic. I wanted to buy my own hair but of course all the beauty supplys were closed. She used Kaneko..something.. does anyone know about this hair I know it is synthetic. She said it wouldn't hurt my hair but I had to remind her that if I heard my hair snap more than 5 times I was getting up I didn't think about the hair she was using?

I think you're talking about Kanekalon hair. That is the best type of synthetic hair there is IMO.
