What to say in an invocation?

Of course, I've heard many invocations in my life, but normally I just bow my head and say, "Amen." Now, I'm the one who has to say one. Somebody help...please.

Just say a simple prayer from your heart. Pray over the event. Give thanks, especially for save travel (if travel is involved). Nothing complicated.

Hi Angel: Star is right, just speak from your heart; for a loving heart is what you have. Speak whatever you feel is there, and make into a loving prayer.

Even if you still feel there is nothing to say, speak from your heart...anyway. God says, "...take no thought for what you should speak, for a the appointed time the Holy Spirit will speak through you."
