Why did this girl I hang out with call me out for wearing a half wig? It was slightly raised in the front but it did not look bad. Just a lil puffy. Now, I kind of want to get a weave to help me grow my hair instead. I am kind of tired of half wigs. I hope I am not being paranoid.

I haven't had anyone calling me out for wearing a FULL WIG but quite frankly if in their heads their wondering 'what the hell has she got on her head' or 'what's wrong with her hair underneath', I don't care because I know why I'm doing it and I can't let other people's opinions stop me from reaching my hair goals. don't let it bug you though... i have to explain to other black girls all the time why i still wear fake hair when i have a head full of hair already. if she tries to call you out like that again, just say, "dang we all know i have hair underneath the wig, i just wanted to rock a different style. why do you feel the need to point out to everyone that i'm wearing a wig?"

I wear my hair short to class one day and long the next. I try to separate the days so I won't give anyone a heart attack.But, if someone called me out, I would be like, "Yup, this is like 1B, in 12 inches.
